Mn. Francesc Tort, rector of Sant Pau del Camp since 2008, prepares a document to be published on his website, www.santamariadelmartort.es, on its Sant Pau del Camp section, which can be visited here: http://santamariadelmartort.es/nuevo2/santpau.htm. It has more than one hundred pages on the ancient and current history of Sant Pau del Camp, such as the Brotherhood of Sant Pau and Saint Galdaric, its image, the Relics, etc.

The document is a Chronicle about the emotions he felt towards the attitude of Mn. Joan Cabot Barbany, famous among other things for his desire to be able to marry a homosexual couple inside the temple and for confessing his suport to Catalonian independence (1), when on Sunday 7th, Holy Trinity, around 12 noon, he greeted Mn. Cabot amicably, and Cabot did not respond with his supposed brotherhood, fidelity to the Country, openness to migrants, etc. That is, not simulating what he "preaches", but acting to encompass everything: Sant Pau del Camp, Virgin of Lourdes, San Salvador de Horta, Santa Madrona, "in unum" under his “wise” and pastoral guidance.

Mn. Francesc Tort, rector of Sant Pau del Camp since 2008, and the unlimited ambition of Mn. Joan Cabot, moving and taking advantage of Jordi Xavier Romero, former monk of Montserrat

Mn. Cabot has always told Dra. Josefina Mutgé never to say him "Father", either verbally or when, doing a favor, following the custom started with the Rector Mn. Tort to write the few baptism or marriage certificates that are now made. He is just Joan. However, we in this chronicle, which has benn originated by his authentic attitude, regardless of whether he is Mossèn or Joan, we will continue to refer to him as Mn. Joan Cabot Barbany.

Sunday, May 24, was the first day that the mass was resumed in Sant Pau del Camp. 7 people attended. Josefina did not go, neither did I.

On Sunday May 31, Pentecost, I did go to Sant Pau. Given that a few days ago the key I had on the front door to the parking garden was canceled, and I did not have my card, I called the doorman, soon to arrive, to open it. Upon muy arrival it was open.

The Cloister of Sant Pau del Camp
It seemed better to me not to go inside the temple yet and, entering the lower part and finding the door tight but not locked, I went to the Cloister to reread the homily that I would preach the afternoon at La Mercè. At around 12:20 p.m. I decided to leave. I left the cloister door as it was. I asked the doorman, from outside, to open the door for me to leave with the car.

The following Sunday, June 7, Holy Trinity, we decided to go again to Sant Pau with the car. He couldn't find the door phone at the time, so Paco went on foot to ask the doorman to open it. He did it and I went in.

Given the restrictions on seating inside the temple, I wanted to do the same as last Sunday, the 31st. Upon entering to access the Cloister, the door was locked.

I went out and, as the doorman was outside the temple, I asked him to go inside to tell him to open the cloister for me, and he told me that it was closed by order of Mn. Cabot. Then I thought of going to the inner garden, arranged by me some time ago as it remains now, but although it was always open or had the key clearly visible, he told me that it was also closed by order of Mn. Cabot.

Saying that, the doorman left and I went to the bathroom. Then I went outside. In these few minutes he was able to communicate with Mn. Cabot and explain him what had happened before.

When I went outside, Mn. Cabot was arriving. I greeted him with friendly cordiality. I told him that the Cloister door was closed. His reaction was violent to the maximum. I shouldn’t have the key to the Vicarage, which in fact has about 30 copies for people of all kinds, I shouldn’t ask the doorman anything...
Mn. Cabot went on to complain about why I had, as so have plenty of people, the access key to the downstairs or the sinks. According to him, "he did not know any rector who, once he was no longer president, kept the key,".
Given his attitude, I reminded him of my email asking to have a meeting, to which he replied that he had not given any response, as he has done with others, with arguments regarding something I say about him on my website.

Mail sent on March 5, 2020:

"Dear friend Mn. Joan Cabot y Barbany:

Today, Mn. Manuel Félez came to show me a symphony he has made. He really is a musician, it is his strength. He told me about the Seminar meeting and your words: "I congratulate you".

You told me to see us one day having a coffee.

As you can see, I go with Paco Contreras, who now works as a freelancer at GLOBO and on Sundays works from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. He believes that you did not behave well with me or with him.

The only real problem was some jealousy between us, as always, usually unjustified.

Paco, after having been confined for nine years and having suffered so many setbacks since his birth, having been an altar boy of mine in Santa María del Mar, needed help and I had no other human and charitable option than to help him. Josefina still does it... a lot!

Let's see if one day we can meet to eat or drink coffee, without being Sunday. Every Monday I go to say mass at 8:30 in Barceloneta and every Monday I am free afterwards.

Your friend Mn. Tort "

Mn. Cabot apologized for his lack of response to this email referring to something about my website about Sant Pau, which I did not understand, nor did I know how to locate.

Understanding that the words of Mn. Cabot were due to the fact that last Sunday I asked the garden to be opened, I said to him: " I do not have that computer key that so many others have." He responded violently. Cabot said "that I had no right".

Mn. Cabot continued: "You have no right to have the key to the Vicarage. I do not know of any former rector who maintains the key like you." It should be remembered that I have only used the key to go to the toilets or spend a few minutes inside the cloister until the mass begins, and then attend between the faithful.
Nor Mn. Cabot, nor any of the many substitutes, has ever invited me to concelebrate, nor when, coincidentally, did another priest concelebrate, as the priest from Kenya who, having gone before to celebrate, when he comes to visit his mother and brother at the Parish of San Ignacio de la Rambla, with the change of rector of that one began to come to Sant Pau, always being very well received. Every year a collection was made for the Kenyan mission that he runs, even scheduling that Sant Pau would raise money to buy an ambulance for the mission.

Not only that, but I myself helped a mission priest who came with him to pay for a house for his parents, with aid of no less than fifteen hundred euros, mine or from the Parish.

The context of the relationship between Mn. Joan Cabot and I have always moved in his obsession: he is bothered by my simple presence in Sant Pau del Camp, which in fact shows that I never had enemies and I can greet many parishioners every Sunday. This fact has become such an obsession, which reveals what is related in this long chronicle. In the context of his boundless ambition, not caring in the least about lying, being unfair or constantly mistreating me, Mn. F. Tort, rector of Sant Pau del Camp since 2008.

Retirement imposed by Mn. Joan Cabot with related aids:
He retired me without asking. Retirement forced from the beginning by Mn. Cabot, using everything and everyone, especially Jordi Xavier Romero. The two worked for the same objective: to put Mn. Joan Cabot as rector in Sant Pau del Camp.

Congregation for the Clergy:
Being retired without being asked for it, as canonically stipulated, even when three priests of the archpriesthood are older than me or of the same age, like Mn. Catà.

Before the unjust retirement, deducing by words of the Pope's Nuncio, Bishop Renzo Fratrini, who had been forwarded to him from the bishopric, when I had requested an audience the previous day, that the cause of retirement was simply for "pastoral reasons".

In this context, I went to the Vatican's "Congregatio pro clerici".

After several letters, both with the secretary of said Congregation and the President himself, the sentence has not yet been concluded. In fact, however, I have not insisted in the context of the relationship with Mr. Cardinal Archbishop
Mon. Joan Josep Omella.

Audience with Bishop Renzo Fratini, Nuncio to Pope Francis in Spain and Andorra:

As I said, when asked for an audience with Bishop Renzo Fratini and already located inside the waiting room of the Nunciature in Madrid, the Nuncio came. As the first and only greeting he said: "Greetings from Traserra". This greeting from the Nuncio, which had never been able to wait, led us to laugh at both of us and maintain a fluid and friendly relationship.

We talk about everything. How the bishops often went to see him requesting a transfer, as some retirees would see him intuiting his words, who could be dealt with without any specific specific indication.

I told him about my friendship with his predecessor, Mgr. Hildebrando Antoniutti, and how the Spanish state gave him every year a new "Mercedes" of his choice.
Mons., With a singular expression and implying how things have changed now with Pope Francis and with the State, said: "Now there is no Mercedes ...".
It was a conversation as entertaining and interesting as the one I had also had with his predecessor, Bishop Lajos Kada.
Mn. Galtes was there:
When Cabot, with the help of Mn. Matabosch, was preparing my retirement, he being in the bishopric together with Matabosch and with the auxiliary bishop Mgr. Taltabull, at one point, quietly, Mn. Galtes clearly told me "Expresis verbis". That is, "that Mn. Cabot is behind everything."

Congregatio Pro Clericis
The Congregatio Pro Clericis cannot use this vague "nutum", but must legally and canonically examine a fact and its origins. Regardless of your opinions, of promoting, manipulating and serving others, you know perfectly well that at parish level I acted well, regardless of whether, on certain occasions, I disagreed, at the level of the Archbishopric meetings, of your Machiavellianism to program everything , not to report anything or only after all, and other things, with the beneficiary, unconditional support of Mn. Catà, of my age.
When the Congregatio ends the appeal with some sentence or definitive answer, I will finish the entry started as "Mafia Procedure" on my blog, and I will tell you in detail about the procedures and your insatiable ambitions camouflaged by other attitudes.

Mn. Cabot, always ready to deny anything I ask, says "I shouldn't go to Sant Pau". A constant.

"This morning, 10-15-2016, I could hardly enter to celebrate an extraordinary mass, a sudden request accepted by me when informed that there was nothing at 12 noon and asking, through Dr. Mutjé, your permission, but you did not send it to the sacristan when you know I should present your guarantee. Afterwards, you came too nervous to tell me that I should not come to Sant Pau del Camp.

Atm. Tort "

Mn. Cabot and Mn. Galtés, Bishop Renzo Fratini:

As we have said many times, it is amply demonstrated that Mn. Joan Cabot was promoting my retirement due to his desire to occupy Sant Pau del Camp as soon as possible. It was his greatest wish, along with putting the entire Poble Sec under his absolute hands.

The night of my trip to Madrid my steps were followed. Galtes, perennial episcopal vicar, called me to tell that a substitute for me was being named.

When I commented to Mn. Galtes of the Nuncio, his "greetings from Traserra", Mn. Galtes, a friend of Mons. Traserra, was suddenly completely unsettled, and having said at the beginning of the conversation that a priest would come to replace me, on the way he changed his plans and person, who was clearly Mn. Cabot. Rectifying said that it would be Mn. Manel Félez, previous step to, after a year, the arrival of Mn. Cabot.

Commenting the events with Mn. Cabot this Sunday, June 7, he replied that he was the one appointed to get away from me, to which I told him that "this is how it happened, so you can come later". It is clear that Mn. Cabot was silent, because it was, and is, all too clear from the beginning: his ambition knows no bounds.

Following the same conversation, I, without raising my tone, reminded him that it was inconceivable, always in agreement with him, regarding Mr. Jordi Xavier Romero, former monk of Montserrat, left in an enigmatic period.

I remembered what he knew well, because the said former monk of Montserrat acted with his approval and with his backs guarded. He would violate all rights by meeting the Pastoral Council without any right, in agreement, of course, with Mn. Cabot, to ensure my departure from Sant Pau.

It should be said that I had no problem, either directly or indirectly, with any parishioner from Sant Pau del Camp, and that the help of Dr. Josefina Mutgé, as my secretary, made the parish very well assisted. Too much, for the interests of Mn. Cabot and said Mr. Romero.

When Jordi Xavier Romero acted to supplant my authority as rector almost everything.
When I asked Mn. Cabot who, because I did not attend the Archpriest Pastoral Council because it was not going well for me to go to live outside Sant Pau, and in the interest of Mr. Jordi Xavier Romero to go, without anticipating what this decision would have against me and in favor from Mn. Cabot, I named him.

Mn. Cabot, in my inauguration, despite being the archpriest and the archpriests always attend the inaugurations of all the parishes in his district, he committed the wrong, not only to me but also to Bishop Lluís Martinez Sistachs that gave me solemn possession, of not attending.
It became clear that my appointment was not what I expected and wanted Mn. Cabot. He hoped to move everything to occupy Sant Pau del Camp in a forced way, adducing the supposed "pastoral motive", which, as will be seen later, became simply to unite all the parishes of Poble Sec almost into one, all personally governed "in unum "by Mn. Cabot.
Mn. Cabot refused to allow the Marsé Family to do, as he had done many times in Sant Pau, a family meeting:

Dra. Josefina Mutge's email:

"Dear Father: Yesterday Mn. Cabot told me that he does not want the Marsé family to make food in the Parish. For the Mass, which you will celebrate, no problem.

Right now, when I opened the computer, I found an email from Pedro Marsé, asking again about the possibility of food, and I answered, immediately, the same thing that I just said: Mass, yes; food, no.

We can not do anything !!!

Cordially

Josefina "

Jordi Xavier Romero former monk of Montserrat

In this context, Mn. Cabot saw how his arrival in Sant Pau del Camp was being delayed too much and found the easy collaboration of the aforementioned Mr. Jordi Xavier Romero, who, always feeling supported by Mn. Cabot intervened as rector and so often implied it. Many believed it.

It was in the context of this plot of Mn. Cabot and the hope of Mr. Jordi Xavier, wanting to own everything, when there was a punctual and inconsequential rifirrafe between Paco and the doorman on the way to distribute the Kings. Our plan was to do it in this order: boys and girls from the Catechism, Arab boys and girls and also the boys and girls from the gypsy colony.

Mn. Cabot and Mr. Jordi Xavier also intervened to oppose my wish that the manger, made inside the temple and located on the altar where the Virgin was, after Three Kings Day, was dismantled to have the Virgin's altar free for the following Festival of Sant Pau del Camp, on January 25, Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle. At my request, the next day the image that had been taken had been placed behind the manger.

Among all these minor topics, without the involvement of anyone outside Jordi Xavier and Mn. Cabot, was when, having regularly convened the Pastoral Council to discuss these issues, Mr. Jordi Xavier Romero intervened, with the certain involvement of Mn. Cabot, who waited for anything to become the owner of everything. Also believing, this Romero, that without me he would already be the "fac totum" and universal rector.

As said, I wanted the Manger to be removed after January 6, as it is done in some places. I had called the Pastoral Council to explain things, but Mr. Jordi Xavier Romero, referring to the position that he himself had usurped as secretary of the "own power" and with the approval of Mn. Cabot took him to the Bishopric, everything already well prepared by Mn. Cabot and having sought the complicity of Mn. Matabosch, Mn. Galtes, etc.

Recalling in the conversation on June 7 these events, I complained that such, regardless of how the Church has always acted in all dioceses and at the Vatican level, continued with all tranquility thanks to Mn. Cabot.
Before this conversation, Mn. Cabot told me that this Jordi Xavier Romero was very well integrated in the Parish. I asked him: "Who put it in the Parish?" He replied, "I don't know." I clarified, "Well, it was me."

Not knowing what to say more Mn. Cabot, who had already dared to demand that he not enter the rectory lower ground for nothing, as is known, so many enter. At the moment, he was "calm" and went to celebrate mass with about 15 people. In the homily he continued to do the same, preach what he does not do and what he does not seem to believe.

Not being able to go to the Cloister, I stayed inside the temple to follow mass and then the doorman opened the door for me to take the car out.

Mail to Mn. Joan Cabot, June 9 2020, not answered, which said so:

"Mn. Joan Cabot. Without any rush I will prepare an extensive account of last Sunday's meeting, of what you told me and what I was answering you, point by point.

The text will include my going to the Nuncio and what he told me, regarding Jordi Xavier and how you made it appear that you were not in it, when everything happened because of your doing.

It will include letters to the Congregation of the Clergy, affirmations or comments regarding yourself ...

The Sacred Congregation did not conclude because I did not insist ...

A document with texts and photos that demonstrate that the pastoral reasons have been no other than to undo everything that had been done, remove San Galdaric, erase the Brotherhood of San Pablo and San Galdaric, etc.

Your behaviour, denouncing me civilly when that thing with the door!

Since you don't want to give me the key to get in and out without needing the doorman to help me for a minute, I'll leave the car in a parking lot and we'll come on foot.

I will not do such an important document without the utmost care, with notes to be published, for the moment only on my website. It will be placed separately in Catalan, Spanish and English, both in separate entries on the Blog, as well as on the Web, in the section referring to Sant Pau del Camp.

You have confirmed, with demonstrable facts, that you have no feelings of kindness and justice. You preach what you don't practice. This explains why Paco leaves the temple when you start the fictitious homily.

Take care,

Mn. Francesc Tort Mitjans"

Mn. Cabot has not responded to this email, either.

As I said in the previous email, on Sunday June 14 we went to Sant Pau by car. We left it in the parking lot of C / Abad Safont and went to San Pablo. I walked for a while, I entered the temple with Paco and at the beginning of Mn Cabot’s homily we left.

Before entering Sant Pau, I wanted to pass by the entrance door of the cars, in case Mn. Cabot had given some counter order. Time before, the door usually opened at the time I arrived. It was closed. Mn. Cabot acts despotically with me, showing that my very presence bothers him to the maximum, because, as he well knows, he was all moved and taken advantage of by him, in order to become owner of everything!

Pastoral reasons:
The reasons that the Nuncio to the Pope, Monsignor Renzo Fratini, expressed to me in my direct personal visit to Madrid, after greeting me with that enigmatic "Greetings from Traserra", referring to who was auxiliary bishop of Barcelona, Jaume Traserra, and who later aspired twice to be Archbishop of Barcelona, friend of the perennial episcopal vicar Mn. Galtes, who, undoubtedly to confuse me, told me "that behind everything there was nothing less than Mn. Joan Cabot".

Pastoral reasons, continues:

Mn. Tort in Sant Pau del Camp
During my rectory and during Mn. Joan Cabot, before and after forcing his mastery of everything.

During the rector's office of Dr. Francisco Tort since the inauguration of 2008:
Perfectly organized catechism. First communions for about 5 Sundays each year.

Baptisms:
There were two baptismal Sundays at 11am. One in Catalan and the other in Spanish. Almost always there were baptisms administered, one by one, outside of Sunday mass.

Masses:
Two masses, one on Saturday at 8pm. in Spanish, the other on Sunday at 12pm. in Catalan. The rector Mn. Tort always personally celebrated the two masses without any substitute.

Parish Office:
On Thursdays of each week, from 5 to 7 in the afternoon, I was ready to receive visits, couples who wanted to get married, groups that asked to do concerts.

Parish Secretary, with Dr. Josefina Mutgé:

Josefina always acted as my secretary. Throughout the week he received visitors. He kept the telephones of the interested people, using his own mobile, and stayed in contact with the people.

Herself did the preparation for Baptism and the global preparation for marriages.

He personally prepared the Prayers of the Faithful, different in each case. She liked to read them herself, to be personally present during the liturgical acts of Baptisms and Marriages, being very friendly to each of the families, grateful for their interest.

Brotherhood of Sant Pau and Sant Galdaric:

As a consequence of the stay of the body of Saint Galdaric in Sant Pau del Camp for a few years, the Brotherhood of Saint Paul and Saint Galdaric was created, a creation confirmed by Mr. Cardinal Archbishop of Barcelona, Lluís Martinez Sistachs. Through the Benedictine nuns of Sant Benet de Montserrat, the medals were designed and manufactured to be worn by the confreres, etc.

Caritas and social action:
With the help of Dr. Mutgé and others, any need of the parishioners, or the simple residents of our parish district, was always attended to.

There is a contrast with how all ended up with the arrival of Mn. Joan Cabot, having forced his arrival in Sant Pau with the goal of forming one of almost all the parishes of the archpriesthood.

Mn. Joan Cabot celebrates only 35% of the mass on duty in Sant Pau. The rest of them are celebrated by substitutes. (2)

Masses:

Mn. Cabot has only personally celebrated 35% of the Masses during these years. Normally, he never does the one on Saturday afternoon and 50% on Sunday. Until the time to start the mass it is not known who celebrates it. When Mn. Cabot came, usually at the last minute, with a few minutes before or after mass.

Christenings:

Some baptisms administered outside of mass on agreed days and times, although they did not always occur because there had been no direct, personal or telephone relationship with Mn. Cabot and Dr. Mutgé were not allowed to intervene.

Baptisms, continues:

Most of the baptisms of Mn. Cabot, sometimes with two boys or girls, were celebrated within the 12 o'clock mass on Sunday, abbreviating to the maximum the rites proper to baptisms according to laws and customs. Thus, Mn. Cabot managed to get more faithful at the 12 o'clock mass, annoying the families of the baptized many times, who had to stay until the end of the mass, with the movements that these groups, normally not attending mass, have between them when it gets too long.

Catechism:
The pastoral reasons mentioned by Mn. Cabot also made reference that they would increase the assistants to the Catechism. Some catechists believed it, but soon realized that catechesis outside Sant Pau was soon diminished to the maximum.

Mass of Catechesis:
It had no success. Fewer children and fewer families came from the catechized, until practically without effect.

Parish Office:

In principle it was designated a Thursday, then a Tuesday, and since Mn. Cabot could not come by telephoning or sending an email to Dr. Josefina to make her office. But Dr. Josefina had no assignment, or right, to set the day and time for a baptism, a wedding or a concert, and simply limited herself to asking for the phones that she later passed on to Mn. Cabot. Said by herself, Mn. Cabot forgot everything and did not telephone or associate with anyone, so some returned to complain to Dr. Josefina, who had to say that she had fulfilled the order.

Brotherhood of San Pablo and San Galdaric:

Mn. Cabot, using his system of making and undoing or imposing his destructive criteria, annulled said Brotherhood and removed from the presbytery the image of Saint Galdaric and the Relic that had been granted to Saint Paul from the Cathedral of Perpignan, where the body of Saint Galdaric remains. .

He took out, without other arguments, the two stone altars, one where the Virgin of San Pablo is and the other where the tabernacle is.

Attendance at mass:

Aside from the fact that the same number of faithful from the neighbourhood or the Parish continue to attend, more or less and with the exception of casual tourists, there is evidence of the arrival of some five or six religious who, with me, did not come before.

Mn's personal ambition. Joan Cabot:

It is clear that there were no other reasons than the ambition of Mn. Cabot in the changes and the programming and organization of the parishes of Poble Sec.
It is true that in some few masses some young people attended who came as a consequence of a certain friendship with Mn. Cabot, but without the continuity or evidence that his ambitions have led to a minimal growth in religious practice, catechism, or First Communion.

Distinguished Secretary of the Congregation for the Clergy:

Good has been from the beginning ...

... in a clear context of satisfying, mainly, the main inspirer Mn. Juan Cabot Barbany, of recognized ideology ...,

No one can deny that my rectory was completely peaceful and fruitful. I had no problem with anyone, attendance at mass increased by 50%, etc. I retired without a prior request at the age of 79, when in the diocese there are many practicing pastors of up to 88 years of age.

With the same sentiments expressed towards you in my first letter, dated July 2, 2016, I say goodbye to you.

Barcelona 11-12- 2016

S.E. Card. Beniamino Stella

Prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy

Vatican City

Distinguished Cardinal Prefect

On January 30, 2016, I contacted Your Eminence requesting protection. On March 18, 2016, I insisted.

On May 16, 2016, HE Bishop Joël Mercier, Archbishop of Rota, Secretary of the Prefect of the "Congregatio Pro Clericis" was kind enough to respond to the previous requests for help. The secretary, after referring to the main documents, the subject of the initial petition, ended with the quotation from the comforter canon 1446.

Among those who participated decisively is the aforementioned Archpriest of Ramblas-Pueblo Seco, Mn. Juan Cabot Barbany, using Mr. Jordi Xavier Romero, a former monk from Montserrat, whom, when he presented himself at my parish in Sant Pau, I accepted him to collaborate. The socio-religious and cultural activity of the said Mn. Cabot, at the time Administrator of the Parish of Sant Pau del Camp, leads him to celebrate in it various other priests, among whom he could ask that, in an organized way, a servant also do so.

In the recent solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the said administrator, Mn. Juan Cabot Barbany, has celebrated the Eucharist accompanied by the Music Chapel, one of the best in Barcelona, which a server established in Sant Pau del Camp. I have only been able to participate as faithful among others. Neither in the said solemnity nor in other Eucharist, at the time of giving Peace, Mn. Juan Cabot Barbany, when moving around the small temple, has always avoided coming to me.

The same Bishop Renzo Fratini, Apostolic Nuncio in Spain, seemed to suppose certain reasons as the cause of everything in his last email of 11-29-2016. I think that the main pretext of the originated change can be found in Mn. Cabot.

In the aforementioned context, related to Mn. Cabot Barbany and with Jordi Xavier Romero as the initial "fac totum", it was promoted that an Arab woman, with the black veil, came to receive Communion. We gave Holy Communion a servant and the Secretary of the Parish, Dra. Josefina Mutge. The Arab woman decidedly came to me asking for "the bread", in an episode arranged to see what I was doing. I opted, conscientiously and immediately, to give her Communion without any expression of disgust or surprise. I did the same the following Sunday. Neither "in situ" nor later did I make any comment.

The aforementioned episode ended when Mn. Juan Cabot Barbany, Administrator of San Pablo and organizer of the part of the Arciprestazgo de Poble Sec "in sol.lidum".

In the context previously suggested, Jordi Xavier Romero supports and helps Mn. Joan Cabot Barbany regent Sant Pau del Camp, although the mother parish of Poble Sec is that of Santa Madrona, which he himself runs with two other priests over 80 years old, Mn. José Catá Mitjans and the Jesuit José Ricart Oller, who lives in C / Caspe de Barcelona, among others.

Keep in mind that in my inauguration as parish priest of Sant Pau del Camp, in 2008, the said Mn. Joan Cabot Barbany, already then Archpriest, did not attend the event.

In the Blog of my Web, www.santamariadelmartort.es, there is an entry titled "Mafia Procedure". The aforementioned entry is still without content, "on hold", given that I always thought that, despite the adjacent difficulties, the thing would have another end. First, to restore myself at least "in solidum" in Sant Pau del Camp along with the others.

Having finally entered the website of the "Congregatio", I confess that feelings of admiration have been born in me.

Dear Mr. Archbishop, Secretary of the Congregation for the Clergy:

On January 30, 2016 and a new reminder on April 16 of the same year, I went, with a documentary document, to the Sacred Congregation for the Clergy asking for their protection in view of the fact that my retirement as parish priest of Sant Pau del Camp de Barcelona, where he had been the parish priest since 2008 with full acceptance.

On May 16, 2016, I received, with joy, the response of the Sacred Congregation for the Clergy, in a letter signed by Your Excellency concluding "... in accordance with the spirit of fraternity that must inform the relations between the various members of the Holy people of God (cf. c. 1446) ”.

The events have continued, ending with the new appointment of Parish Administrator of Mn. Juan Cabot and the service "in solidum" of four priests two with more than 80 years. They alternate Saturdays and Sundays. In this context, I have not been given an option to server or to concelebrate. Dear by the faithful, I can only attend among them, as I do. The Administrator, nor the others "in solidum", apparently do not flinch.

Dear Monsignor Joël Mercier, Secretary of the Congregatio Pro Clericis, in view of the foregoing, my desire would be for this Sacred Congregation to issue a definitive answer and sentence, preferably in accordance with the spirit of the aforementioned canon 1446, in order to conclude my appeal for protection in time of dear Pope Francis.

Repeating the expressions that I cordially addressed in my response to yours on May 16, 2016, on June 2, 2016, I say goodbye to V.E.

Signed: Mn. Dr. Francisco Tort Mitjans.

Parish priest of Sant Pau del Camp de Barcelona.

Secretary of the

Congregatio Pro Clericis

Dear Mr. Secretary:

On December 12, 2016, he had sent Card. Beniamino Stella, Prefect of the Congregatio, a letter (1). On Saturday, December 17, the one of V.E dated in the Vatican on 1-12-2016 (2) came into my hands.

In the two communications, which I have had the honor and confidence to receive from Your Excellency, the aforementioned (1) and the first on May 16, 2016 (3), I have seen reflected, in principle, the speech or meditation that the Pope Francis made the members of the Roman Curia on 12-22-2016.

Appendix- 6

The events have been followed up and finalized with the new appointment of Parish Administrator of Mn. Juan Cabot and the "in solidum" service of four priests, two over 80 years old. They alternate Saturdays and Sundays. In this context I have not been given an option or concelebrate. Dear by the faithful, I can only attend among them, as I do. The Administrator, nor the others "in solidum", not even, apparently, remain unchanged.

Appendix-7

Dear friend Mn. Joan Cabot

This morning, 10-15-2016, I can hardly enter to celebrate an extraordinary mass, a sudden request accepted when informing me that at 12pm. There was nothing and I asked, through Dr. Mutjé, your permission, that you did not send the sacristan, who had to check your guarantee. Then you came too nervous to tell me that I should not come to Sant Pau del Camp.

Appendix-8

Dear Mn. Joan Cabot: Regarding the Marsé family issue, Josefina asks me to speak directly with you. I, in the email I sent her on 01-01-17, which I forwarded to you, spoke to her thinking that she herself could forward it. For me, the most important thing would be mass. The new Catechesis room would also fulfill the objective, for me whatever. The Marsé family lives in Vilanova, also many here in Barcelona in different places. Grandchildren, I think, are generally people who adapt to your mood and perhaps, surely, could be useful. Surely, most are university students. My strong relationship was with the grandparents and also with Pere Marsé.

Your friend Mn. Tort

Appendix-9

Mn. Cabot refuses to allow the Marsé Family to do, as he had done many times in Sant Pau, a family meeting:

Dra. Josefina Mutge's email:

"Dear Father: Yesterday Mn. Cabot told me that he does not want the Marsé family to make food in the Parish. For the Mass, which you will celebrate, no problem.

Right now, when I opened the computer, I found an email from Pere Marsé, asking again about the possibility of food, and I immediately answered the same thing that I just said: Mass, yes; food, no.

We can not do anything !!!

Cordially

Josefina "

Appendix-10

Mn. Cabot, always ready to deny anything I ask, tells me "that I should not go to San Pablo". A constant.
This morning, 10-15-2016, I could hardly enter to celebrate an extraordinary mass, a sudden request accepted when informing me that at 12pm. There was nothing and I asked, through Dr. Mutjé, your permission, that you did not send the sacristan, who had to check your guarantee. Then you came too nervous to tell me that I should not come to Sant Pau del Camp.

Appendix-11

Mail to Mn. Joan Cabot on June 9, 2020, also unanswered, which read as follows:

"Mn. Joan Cabot. Without any rush I will prepare an extensive account of last Sunday's meeting, of what you told me and what I was answering you, point by point.

The text will include my going to the Nuncio and what he told me, regarding Jordi Xavier and how you made it appear that you were not there, when everything happened from yourself.

Also letters to the Congregation of the Clergy, affirmations or comments regarding yourself ...

The Sacred Congregation did not conclude because I did not insist ...

A document with texts and photos that demonstrate that the pastoral reasons have been no other than to undo everything that had been done, remove San Galdaric, erase the Brotherhood of San Pablo and San Galdaric, etc.

Your behavior, denouncing me civilly when the door!

Appendix -12

Mail to Mn. Cabot, March 5, 2020, not answered. Mn. Cabot has never replied to my emails, not even when I simply congratulated him on his saint.

"Dear friend Mn. Joan Cabot y Barbany:

Today Mn. Manuel Félez came to show me a symphony he has made. He really is a musician, it is his strength. He told me about the Seminar meeting and your words: "I congratulate you".

You told me, one day having a coffee.

As you can see, I go with Paco Contreras, who now works as a freelancer at GLOBO and on Sundays works from 2pm to 4pm.

Josefina still does it now... a lot!

Let's see if one day we can meet to eat or drink coffee, without being Sunday. Every Monday I go to say mass at 8:30 in Barceloneta and every Monday I am free afterwards.

Be that as it may, a hug.

Your friend Mn. Tort "
